Introducing The Minute

To be totally honest with you, being an inbound marketer can suck at times.

The pressure to produce content that is original, high caliber, and just the right length (short enough to hold your reader’s attention; long enough to provide something valuable) can be stifling, not to mention exhausting.

What’s even more taxing is when the piece of content you spent hours producing gets little to no attention — and not because it’s of poor quality, but because it didn’t reach the most appropriate audience at the most appropriate time.

As more and more individuals, web-based publications, businesses, and nonprofits (to name a few) click the “publish” button, it’s becoming harder and harder to connect great content with its intended audience. And for as much as it may be difficult for us as inbound marketers to make that connection, it’s also difficult for readers to find the content they really want.

From an enrollment manager’s perspective, sorting through all the buzz and chatter in an attempt to find that golden idea for a graduate school information session or undergraduate campus visit day may be at best a challenge — and at worst totally overwhelming.

But the truth is, awesome content for enrollment managers does exist — and this content is worth consuming and sharing. It’s just a matter of finding it.

And that's why we created The Minute.

As an overworked admissions professional, you likely don't have the time to scour Twitter for relevant #EnrollmentManagement topics, scroll through your crowded Facebook newsfeed for a blog post that actually looks worth reading, or read boring e-newsletters that will claim — for like the millionth time — that they're the coolest kids in the higher ed marketing town.

We get it — and we want to help.

The Minute is a weekly, 60-second update on what you need to know about the latest trends in higher education marketing and a few reasons why you should care about them.

We stay on top of everything happening out there — the tweets, snaps, blogs, newsblasts, etc. — and bring you a summary of the stuff that we think enrollment managers will actually deem worth reading. No sales-y, fear-inducing, or supposedly "funny" fat cat videos here — only the good stuff (with a hint of personality, of course).

The Minute is much more than an e-newsletter: it's a weekly dose of awesome content with just enough personality to keep you engaged and just enough educational value to make it worth your time.

As inbound marketers, we know what’s good and what’s not. We’re not biased to any particular trend or opinion on marketing in the higher education world; as long as the content is interesting and valuable, we’ll share it with you.

Allow us the opportunity to connect you with the ideas that higher education marketing thought leaders are sharing. We want to bridge the gap between remarkable content creators and revolutionary content seekers like you.
